RESPONSIBLE AI CHARTER BRANDING

Developed the visual identity and trust mark for the Manchester Metropolitan University Responsible AI Charter, creating a system that balanced credibility and authority with clarity and accessibility for everyday organisations. The project began with the exploration of three distinct visual directions to establish the right balance between institutional and approachable, resulting in a grounded and confident final identity.

At the centre of the system is a simple “a” trust mark with a subtle nod to AI, designed to scale flexibly across digital and print applications. Supported by a palette of deep trust-led tones, warmer accent colours and a combination of serif and sans serif typography, the wider identity was created to feel clear, considered and usable across a broad range of audiences and organisational contexts.
