BRAND ILLUSTRATIONS - INFORM CONSULTING ENGINEERS

Inform Consulting Engineers help make buildings work, from surveying existing systems to planning what gets installed. When FromHere Studio created their new brand and website, they brought me in to turn that technical world into a suite of illustrations that felt clear, human and connected.

Working with the identity and creative direction developed by FromHere, I created three scenes covering technical surveys, installation on site and collaborative planning. I was responsible for developing the compositions and producing the finished vector artwork, including the people, environments, equipment, pipework and smaller engineering details.

The challenge was to make each environment feel technically believable without overwhelming it with information. I simplified the architecture, limited facial detail and used Inform’s brand colours to connect the scenes, working closely with FromHere and Inform to refine the technical content as the illustrations developed.

Each scene works independently but also joins through coloured service lines to create one continuous homepage composition. The final system included three standalone illustrations and one combined hero, with carefully structured vector files ready for future animation and high-resolution artwork for presentations, proposals, social content, signage and print.
